Meet the Founder: Nihar Ranjan Kar

Nihar Ranjan Kar, Founder of Agribite Soil To Serve Pvt. Ltd., holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture from M.S. Swaminathan School of Agriculture, Paralakhemundi, and an MBA in Agribusiness Management (ABM) from KIIT School of Rural Management, Bhubaneswar.

He is committed to building a responsible, farmer-centric food enterprise that delivers clean, minimally processed, and regionally authentic foods directly from farmers and farmer groups to consumers. Guided by the “Soil To Serve” philosophy — “To bring authentic foods from their native soil to every serve” — he works closely with farming communities to ensure quality sourcing, fair value, transparency, and sustainable practices.

He also actively collaborates with farmer groups and producer collectives to develop value-added food products that preserve traditional knowledge while meeting modern consumer needs.
